The paraplegic gardener.

What we do.

This year (2017) we have been setting up the garden for wheelchair access, it's an ongoing job. We installed a greenhouse and made some of the beds more access-able. The plan is to become more self sufficient and make saleable items with the produce we grow.

I love chillis

Chillis have been a favourite of mine for a while, I have been experimenting with different types and seeing what grows well in our climate and what gives a good harvest.

Tina makes sauces

Tina works the kitchen and she has come up with some nice sauces, relishes, chutneys and pickles.

Check the Blogs and Vlogs for more on that.

Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's party!

It's always busy.

We call it our Urban Farm, mainly because we live at the edge of a small town and we are making the most of the space we have for growing.

But there is always plenty to do! From pruning the fruit trees to preparing the ground for seed, keeping the greenhouse in order and harvesting produce.
